In Part One, I touched on Democrats getting both Wagner® Power-Painted, as well as blow-torched; hopefully flash-incinerated at the polls too, for what I—in 50 years’ experience in politics—would unhesitatingly call the most glaring insensitivity, combined with a complete unawareness and willful refusal to even comprehend, let alone understand the damage they’re deliberately doing to the people they allegedly were elected to serve. Not that they even care, because they probably don’t.
One of the slides on my phone demonstrated with crystal clarity how Democrats seized power and held onto it with a death grip. It read: “Never forget Democrat Mayors Sent SWAT Teams to Shut Down Churches and Barbershops, but Let Looters and ANTIFA Burn Down Cities.” A thought indelibly etched in my mind that’ll forever remain with me. Probably you too.
For THAT alone, each and every elected official who either authorized such, or allowed it to happen, should be made to pay for it with their political lives, through a skull-crushing defeat and soul-destroying loss at the ballot box. They should be driven out of their cities on a rail, with law enforcement providing them a one-way escort OUT, with them to wander in the political wilderness forever, barred from seeking public office, or any opportunities to abuse or control others for the remainder of their lifetimes.
When one adds to it, the stranglehold by the teachers’ union and chief agitator Randi Weingarten, who should also be out of a job, plus the lifetime loss of her teaching license, for willfully damaging children and their development; all during a lockdown that lasted as long as it did, just because a bunch of snowflake teachers were too lazy to go to work.
Some states handled this better than others by keeping schools open, and no real measurable difference in the numbers; this, despite the bull-crap the drive-by liars in the mainstream press seek to shove down your throat and right up our sphincters. Ron DeSantis of Florida and Kristi Noem of South Dakota were the best. The now-deposed Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan were by far the worst, with Gavin Newsom of California getting dishonorable mention.
Which brings me to the other main problem we’re now having in this election cycle, and that would be Donald Trump. A brilliant, much-needed outsider, whose approach was just the medication millions of Americans needed in 2016, the rabid cur dog attacks by animalistic Democrats through not one, but two sham impeachment trials done for political revenge only, with the second solely an extension of their middle fingers because they didn’t like him.
The second one was held AFTER he left office, which under the Constitution cannot be done for a former president, and is therefore null, void, and nonexistent. Yet these perpetual ego diddlers who can’t pass a working television camera without gratuitously indulging in more of the same, included Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, with Mittens ‘the three-time-loser’ Romney, and Ben Sasse being the worst offenders in the latter two’s perpetual self-righteousness. It’s usually the hyper-religious ‘wrapping themselves up in the name of God’ who are by far the worst of the lot.
At least Sasse is headed off to the University of Florida at year’s end, and with Romney up for reelection in two years, it’s doubtful he’ll seek a second term at age 77, which drives me to my next point.
With the anticipated slaughterhouse at the polls tonight, it’s expected that the House leadership will resign their seats, even though they’re expected to easily win reelection. Yet Speaker Nancy Pelosi is 82 and has been in office 35 years; Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is 83, and has been in office 41 years; and Majority Whip James Clyburn like Pelosi, is also 82, and has been in office almost 30 years.
Yet they’ll quietly know the end of the line has come for them. They’ll retire, only further making the case both for congressional term limits, as well as age limits for the Senate and the Presidency. Add to the mix, we have Joe Biden turning 80 next month, with serious cognitive defects visible to all but the most glaring dropouts of the Captain Obvious School of Observation.
With Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton both turning 77 in 2024, and Biden turning 82 that year, we clearly see that the time has come to turn over the keys of leadership to a new generation, and for the older Boomers to ride into the sunset, not so much including, but especially Donald Trump. One can only handle so much braggadocio and bullsh**. Really.
He reminds me of a partner I had as a Marine. Braggart. Loudmouth. All about himself. The very worst of, and a hash stain on the BBQ (Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens) crowd. Must’ve been Donald Trump’s bastard half-brother.
We lasted…one shift. We got ‘divorced’ the next morning, which in cop talk means the boss split us up at my request, and this guy had a reputation for not lasting more than one shift with any partner. He was relieved of all responsibilities within the week and reassigned out of the unit.
Donald Trump’s pervasively abrasive, persistently abusive, constantly caustic personality is such, it cost him both a second term and destroyed his presidency. I voted for him twice, yes; but there’s no way on Earth I’d do it again, let alone have him over for dinner. Why? Because he’s a boor, a jerk, and a bully. Most people—like me—despise bullies; they’ve despised them their whole lives. They lack basic human decency, and show themselves unfit for basic human contact.
…which is WHY a poll in The Washington Examiner makes clear a record number of Republicans back the Party over Trump. We thank him for his service, He’s done. Finished. He needs to ride into the sunset, and stick to the golf courses he owns.
Like a relationship gone bad, we’re tired of him. As Dennis Miller once said of the Clintons, we need Trump to go away. Far away. Mar-a-Lago is far enough. Trump has way too much bad baggage, and frankly, we’re sick of hearing about it.
Don’t announce anything. You might get your family’s votes, but don’t count on Ivanka’s or Jared’s. They’re Democrats. Have been. For years. But that’s about it. That, and you know you can’t handle losing twice, especially by a skull-crushing, soul-destroying margin.
Think about that. ***
